SRQ glass art is dedicated to furthering participation and involvement in all artistic pursuits, especially making kiln-formed glass art. Because of this dedication, SRQ glass art offers training materials and an on-line forum community to help both beginner and experienced art glass makers. With over 40 years of glass art experience, SRQ glass art is a trusted name in the industry for kiln sales. SRQ glass art continually renews it’s dedication to Glass Art with the release of every new educational EBook, training DVD and every time the staff lifts a kiln lid is to reveal a new work of art |

Alan Toy has been involved in glass since 1970. After starting with traditional stained, leaded and etched glass he used his engineering background to develop a deep technical understanding of what happens to glass when it is heated and cooled and has become a leading instructor in the expanding field of kiln-formed glass. As the owner of the Stained Glass Connection, Alan taught day and evening classes in all aspects of cold and warm glass. He also hosted guest teachers in classes on traditional mosaics and hot glass. Alan continues to take pride in working with his customers to both source the perfect glass and perfect their techniques. He has especially enjoyed using his art background to help them create unique and very personal designs. Because of his Chinese ancestry and his extensive international travel to over 25 countries, Alan has always tried to understand the difference in the cultures of the countries he has visited. His art reflects his appreciation and celebrates this. An accomplished writer in the major glass magazines, Alan believes in sharing his knowledge to as many interested students and peers as possible thus his focus on creating both educational DVDs and e-books. |

Susan's strength has always been her intensity and dedication. A very successful psychotherapist with a large following for over 30 years, Susan, an accomplished musician, has always had a love of all art forms and has applied this to her glass work, first in more traditional stained glass and complex mosaics and more recently for the past 10 years in kiln-formed, fused glass. Her art is heavily influenced by the beautiful tropical setting where she lives and you can see this in her vibrant choice of colors as well as the organic motifs in her designs. Susan also loves putting a metaphysical spin to much of her work. She is always exploring the meaning of existence, space and time with a goal of bringing beauty, peacefulness and serenity into the homes where her work is displayed.
